Take a peek at Primary Care Progress' 4th Annual Leadership Summit. This was my second year capturing this event, and it gets better every time. Thank you to the PCP team for welcoming me onto their team for this weekend of fun!
This past weekend I started my Saturday off right with an energizing "city" hike with Doors to the Outdoors. Pioneered by Stan ("The Man"; seriously, he's pretty great), Door to the Outdoors - affectionately known as D2O - is an organization that inspires urban persons of color to participate in outdoor activities. This weekend kicked off D2O's Summer Summit Series - a set of monthly hikes aimed at facilitating connections with nature through connecting people.
This was the first hike of the series in the Middlesex Fells. "The Fells", as I called it growing up, is an awesome respite from the city landscape, and located only about 5 minutes from Oak Grove Station. Our group of hikers spanned all skills levels. We shared lots of laughs (and only a few slips!). Check out Door to the Outdoors' outings and blog, or connect with them on facebook to learn more about what Stan has planned for the summer and beyond! Better late than never! A year after graduation, the shores of Kingston, MA made for a perfect backdrop for Alessandra's belated senior photos!Annie & Kevin's wedding, despite every weather man's prediction, went off without a hitch on a beautiful day in New Hampshire. With backdrops to die for at the quaint and romantic Adair Inn, and hugs aplenty, the Almeidas rang in their marriage in style. An enormous thank you to Annie, Kevin, and their families for having me as a part of their special day, and also for introducing me to one of my new favorite locations on the east coast. Cheers, you guys!
What better way to kick off my blog than with the wedding of of two tremendous people. I met Diana over a decade ago, and grew to know and love her as a deeply thoughtful and unwaveringly optimistic person. Jesse truly matches Diana's zest, love, and enthusiasm. Together their warmth and affection for each other - and ability to have a killer time - bursted from the seams on their wedding day.
Diana and Jesse, you make it look easy! Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day! The images below were captured in partnership with Corinna Lander Photography. Corinna worked along side me all day (and night!), as my co-shooter and posing extraordinaire. It was a true team effort. I encourage you to check out her stunning work, especially if you’re in the LA or Denver area. |
